Our Story
How it all began . . .
Living Manna Ministries was birthed on March 5th, 2000 by Bishop Mary R. Everding whom the Lord led to begin a ministry in which leaders would be trained in the Scriptures to fulfill their destiny in Him.
THE GOSPEL . . .
* is the good news that Jesus came to save sinners though his death, burial and bodily resurrection
* is the truth that continues to shape our lives as disciples of Jesus
* is the story of the Bible about God’s redemptive plan in Jesus to renew all things
* is at the heart of all that we believe, teach, and practice
*is the message that offers salvation by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ
WE BELIEVE IN WORSHIPING IN THE SPIRIT. . .
* we believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit
* we know the Spirit is sent to gift each believer with their own private prayer/praise language
*we believe this language is used to lift ourselves and edify one another
*we believe it also it empowers the believer to be more effective for Christ
THE CHURCH IS A FAMILY WHO . . .
* is a diverse and redeemed people unified in Jesus • worships God in Spirit and in truth
* is committed to intentionally sharing our lives with each other as the Bible teaches us to love one another
* expresses mutual care and encouragement
* lives out the truths of the gospel with one another
* practices the Lord’s supper and baptism
* reflects the gospel in the roles of all men, women, and children who are created equal in His sight
* depends on God through prayer, consecration and service
* joyfully and generously gives to each other and to the local church through our support of tithes and offering
WE MAKE DISCIPLES . . .
* where God has placed us in our families, communities, neighborhoods, and workplaces
* by blessing others as God has blessed us in abundance
* by intentionally loving and serving those around us in practicing acts of mercy, kindness, and generosity
• by supporting and sending others around the world for the furtherance of the gospel
(Acts 1:8; Acts 2:39; 1 Cor. 14:2; Jude 20; 1 Cor. 14: 18; Acts 19:1-6)
